Hello! I'm new (again)....

Good evening!

 

I first joined FPN way back in 2006 and loved it. But I fell away from fountain pens for a while.

 

After moving from the UK back to the USA a couple of years ago, I recently unpacked my pens and all my lovely inks and have rediscovered my love of fountain pens. I remembered how fantastic this forum was - many people I consider 'real world friends' I first met on FPN. And so I am back again.

 

I loved the pen shows in the UK, and I am very much looking forward to finding a pen show close to me here in the USA.

 

Most of my pens are vintage - Parkers (51s, and a Parker 14 Lady), a couple of Conway Stewarts and three older Sheaffers that are very beat up but simply gorgeous writers. For newer pens, I have been addicted to John Twiss creations and have nine of those, and I have a few Cross pens I love (which are made in my state).

 

For inks - I love color! Most of my inks are Diamine, I have a couple of colors I love which are KWZ and I have been drooling over some of the colors on the Birmingham Pen Company website (I think I will treat myself to a few for Christmas).

 

It is good to be back, and I look forward to 'meeting' you all in the forums.

Ah, welcome back!

 

I have 2 John Twiss pens and they are brilliant - he made special bodies for me to house my Manuscript calligraphy pens and I am very happy with them.
