Two of those greens look almost black compared to the brilliance of the rest.  Chroma?  I dunno...but!  Fantastic drawings as always. Really great image, Kitteh, Mousie and Osssie, going for a stroll.  And I see our two friends are serenely safe after the water test.

I'm not sure I'd use this ink but I loved reading about it.

@yazeh, thanks once again for making life colorful with your detailed, entertaining InkSplorations!  Keep ‘em coming!

Blame it on the scanner :)

Yes, all are correct English. :)  (Though stupid Firefox spell checker doesn't know that "meaningly" is a word.  I has educated it. (Note that "I has educated it." is improper English.  It should be "I have educated it.", but I used improper English on purpose, so it's OK. :D (I also intentionally broke rules from at least some style guides about punctuation in quoted text that makes up a portion of a sentence, but I don't care - I disagree with those rules - the "." is part of the quote.  :P to the style guides! )))  And like a good programmer, I made sure that all my opening parentheses had closing parentheses.

Thank you, @LizEF! I wish, I would have had you as English teacher in school! ;) :)

I often wonder how it would be if the forum was in audio. All the different accents, mispronunciations, "foreign words"

There was late 70s show called Mind your language, about foreigners learning English in England.. It was quite funny. Though, I'm not sure if the humour is acceptable nowadays :D

Oh, now that you mention it, I think I've seen that - someone riding an ostrich.

Back at the turn of the last century there was a large ostrich farm in Jacksonville, Florida and one of the side shows was ostrich racing with human jockeys.  Postcards showing the events show up on occasion.

Never make an ostrich angry.  They can kill you with one kick.

Yeah, they're pretty intimidating in person.  Definitely wouldn't want one angry at me.

@kestrel thanks for posting this   @LizEFhere are some photos /postcards of the farm, in case you haven't seen them yet. As Mr. Spock would say:

:( Poor critters.  Though who knows, maybe they were treated well - impossible to say from the pictures.  Hard to believe they enjoyed pulling a harness, but also hard to believe they'd tolerate it if it were awful...

Just in case you are not familiar with the famous "who's on first" routine by Abbott and Costello (talking about American baseball - you'll need to at least know there are three bases and home plate):

Indeed fascinating 🖖, a nice piece of history.

After the Nov 9, 1948, photo of Mr. Casper petting the alligators, the next photo, so I thought at first, shows Mr. Casper in the wheelchair, missing both his legs. It seems, he was lucky this time. ;) :)

One life!
