Two of those greens look almost black compared to the brilliance of the rest.  Chroma?  I dunno...but!  Fantastic drawings as always. Really great image, Kitteh, Mousie and Osssie, going for a stroll.  And I see our two friends are serenely safe after the water test.

 

I'm not sure I'd use this ink but I loved reading about it.

I often wonder how it would be if the forum was in audio. All the different accents, mispronunciations, "foreign words"

Back at the turn of the last century there was a large ostrich farm in Jacksonville, Florida and one of the side shows was ostrich racing with human jockeys.  Postcards showing the events show up on occasion.

Never make an ostrich angry.  They can kill you with one kick.

Poor critters.  Though who knows, maybe they were treated well - impossible to say from the pictures.  Hard to believe they enjoyed pulling a harness, but also hard to believe they'd tolerate it if it were awful...

After the Nov 9, 1948, photo of Mr. Casper petting the alligators, the next photo, so I thought at first, shows Mr. Casper in the wheelchair, missing both his legs. It seems, he was lucky this time.
