Update on latest acquisitions; and what ink to put in an M600 with broad nib?

A Pelikan and an Aurora arrived from Atlas yesterday and today I went tinto the office to unpack and ink them.

I inked the red and white special edition Pelikan M600 first.  First thoughts are wow, that is the smallest pen I own; I'm glad it it no smaller--I def need to post it.  And the ink I put in it....uhhh, maybe I will tune the nib a tad... it is broad and I put Lennon Tool Bar Outback Forest in it.  Maybe it is not a great choice for the pen.  It hard started the first two strokes, but then wrote without a skip.  HOWEVER, the color is very "faint" or pale---not sure I dig it.  THe pen's nib is broad but it seems barely any thicker of a line than some of my mediums.  Also inked the other pen, an Aurora Optima Aurolaide Blue/Chrome, with some Monteverde Blue Horizon.  It is a medium nib---and writes super wet, juicy and a much thicker line thatn the "broad" Peilikan.  So much so I am considering skipping a line when I write with it. But there is no bleed through and it drys rapidly.

May post some photos Monday.  In the meantime any suggestions for what ink to place in the Pelikan M600 "candy" red and stripe with broad nib?

I recently discovered and been enamored with some of sailor’s Manyo line, particularly the dual shading inks (eg, ha ha, hinoki). These inks are awesome with broad and wet nibs.
