Parkette Deluxe Section?

Parkette Deluxe, is the barrel section connection threaded or friction fit? Because they are Parkers I am thinking threaded as most Parkers are, but since they are the weird lever Parkers I am not sure...

Thanks to the hive mind in advance lol

Slip fit.  Parker quit using the threaded sections when they introduced the streamlined Duofolds in the early 30s.   Having said that,  it doesn't hurt to pretend that the section is threaded when you try to remove one.

Thanks Ron! Knowing I could pull it straight out helped.

I should modify that statement.  Pens like the VS and English Duofolds still used the threaded section.  It's always safest to try to unscrew a section rather than pull it out if unsure.  Always pull the button and pressure bar if you can before removing a section so that the sac doesn't bunch up inside.  At least pull the button so that the pressure bar can turn if it's stuck to the sac, which it frequently is.
