Brick and Mortar AND online?  If so, that's terrible.

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

Just wanted to inform out repair fellas

Do you have a reference for this?  All I can find is a reference to their Chicago store closing.

This is terrible news, such nice people to do business with.

I wish them only the best in their efforts.

I remember meeting them many years ago and them getting married at a pen show. Nice folks, sad that they have to do this.  Had a wonderful visit with them in Appleton when we were visiting Wisconsin a few years ago.

This is so sad, I feel for them- they have been in the business for a long while. I still have a notepad made by Pen Kreations. I’ve been looking at the site to try and support them one last time.

They were a great little niche of brick + mortar, online and vintage + modern. And just good folks all around. Once the dust settles, I’m optimistically excited to see the next iteration of their presence in the pen community.

Sad to hear and really surprising. I guess we never know how the business side of things go but they seemed like a well regarded company in the community. Hopefully this isn't a canary in the coal mine for the pen community.

Sounds like various events all kind of piled on in a relatively short period of time.

Never used them, but still sad to see them leave. His Esterbrook knowledge is unsurpassed.

The Andersons are good & decent people who have always been a real credit to the world of fountain pens and to our hobby.

I wish them well and hope, for them, the best is yet to come.

I ordered some ink from them yesterday, figuring they'll need to be rid of their inventory one way or the other.  It's too bad - I've purchased from them several times, and they were the only source I know of for some repair supplies and papers... :(

I agree i snagged some repair supplies recently but everyone seems to have gotten wind and now are snagging all the rest.

Sad, but not a surprise.  Walking into the store some time ago and seeing the massive wall of ink, and browsing their ink inventory recently, I had a feeling that something bad was about to happen.  My best to them.

If anyone buys the red rubber and gold filigree Parker, please share pictures and writing samples!
