Potential Waterman Carene(?) purchase

@iddqd Have you used a pen with a conical section like this before? I own a Carene, and it is a very nice pen, but I struggle a bit with holding the conical section (I do prefer a more standard section with a bit of flare toward the nib). I sold off my Lamy 2000 because I grew to dislike that conical section very much. That's just me, but it is true that the gripping and writing experience is different with a conical section, and the section/barrel on the Carene is very smooth. My hands are on the oily side, which does not help with a smooth conical section. YRMV. But what a beautiful pen and smooth writer.
