I too have bought a ream of 80gsm trophee paper. The 120gsm may work, and using EF might let it pass. But for me using the B nib no. Feathering ghosting, bleeding. I won’t of course change the nibs and inks I like, so am using it for my 4 year old granddaughter, and printing documents 😊

There's always Kokuyo business paper, 64gsm. Ivory and handles fountain pen ink well.

Well I purchased the 120gsm ivory paper.

tried withe various pens and it’s not great

feathering is the main issue, no bleed through.

inpost a couple of examples latter.

Buy loose sheets, or try Rhodia. How much paper do you need? Copy paper is never a good idea for writing with FPs.

Use about 15 sheets a day!

it’s planning notes and ideas  design so most are discarded.

I prefer non white paper!

That I read that clairfontaine, owner of many brands, makes special arrangements for bulk buying. I’m sure there may be some copy paper that accepts ink better than others. There are also many mills in the UK that just might help you, buying directly from source could be an advantage. 🧐

My two suggestions for the best fountain pen friendly loose leaf paper there is, in ivory/off-white. Both are available in A4 50-sheet reams, but come at a high cost, considering your rate of consumption 🙂

-Kobeha Graphilo 81.4 g/m2:

(You're looking @ 15€ per ream inc. VAT)

-SakaeTP Iroful 75 g/m2:

(That's 10€ inc. VAT)

Prices (and photos) are taken from Stilo e Stile in Rome, but there are other shops in the EU which carry them if you search around. Dunno about the UK.

Thanks for that.

it doesn’t need to be high quality, just decent.

It’s used forideas scribbles plans ,list

most sheets are discarded at the end of the day.!

hence photo copy paper type
