There was a guy in one of my sculpture classes in college who was a photography major, and he was apparently red-green colorblind.  People were teasing him one time about "What color is that file cabinet in the corner of the studio?"  And he said, "I KNOW that it's 'green' -- but it looks 'grey' to me...."

Exactly, a rich vein of misunderstanding, very strange to thing that the fruit orange should be the same shade of grey as a green apple.

Traffic lights are a real danger zone, the location of the light source only being relevant to whether he should stop or go. He is often sent back upstairs by his wife in order to change his tie because his choice looks ridiculous with his shirt or suit.

There was a training school the next town over from where I grew up for "Guiding Eyes for the Blind" and of course one of the things that the dogs were trained for was to ID whether the traffic lights were indicating red (stop) or green (go) based not on their color but on their location on the light fixtures.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

In the gold age of B&W cinema, costumes and set had to be created with colours to have the most contrast/ nuance.

Apparently they used brown lipstick, instead of red (depending film stock).  Some colours were rarely used (such Red/ Yellow and Orange).

Colours most used were White, Pink, Black and Brown.

OMG … this ink looks so beautiful. I definitely need a bottle of this. Thank you @yazeh for showing it to us. The chroma is simply amazing, and that green/brown duality in the ink works astonishingly well. Love it!

Wonderful artwork again. I especially like the 3-ink version with the cat-scooter. That one is really excellent 😻

It's really lovely and it has that type of lowish lubrication you like :)

Thank you! I like that one too. It's inspired by Roman Holiday (1953) with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn :)
