Asvine J16–another titanium contender

Dan Carmell

Recommended Posts

Only on Amazon currently, in polished ($56) or brushed ($60) titanium alloy. Cheaper than the Moonman Ti136 but with less character IMO. The overall look is rather bland compared to the Ti136, which uses gold trim to add some color and interest.

I like Asvine pens and I’m sure this is a good pen, but it hard to muster much enthusiasm for it at this moment. large.IMG_0615.jpeg.8a39b2b4e4cc421fbbbd35b8aaf35523.jpeg

I have this, it's very nice but I think the ti-136 looks better. Well made, writes well, probably would be a good platform for jowo nib swaps.

Perhaps they want to have a timeless elegant business pen. For those who do not want black resin pens.

But I am not a fan of brushed metal pens, reminds me too much the old Pelikan and Lamy.

free pens have already been given to YouTubers for reviews.

J16 is very much look alike the brush version of Majohn Ti136 with downgraded ink window. In the end of the day, they come from the same shed in rural Zhejiang.
