Help Identifying this Sheaffer

Buford

Recommended Posts

I inherited this pen from a relative who worked as a Good Humor ice-cream vendor. The barrel says "Good Humor - Mid-Atlantic INC - Season 1962." I'm guessing it was some sort of promo he got at a convention or maybe they just sent it to him. The clip looks like it says "Sheaffer'S"? I tried to get a clear picture of the nib, but didn't succeed.

The relative who owned it was my step-grandfather. He was a World War II veteran, and a survivor of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. He was still selling Good Humor when I was a kid. When we went to visit, we always got lots of ice-cream!

Sheaffer Skrip

Thanks! I can tell it's a cheap pen, but was hoping it was something rare or unusual. So much for that, I guess. 😆 I still value it, of course.
