GoPens News Question

I searched on FPN to see if this had been addressed.

I don't mean to be insensitive in any way with this question.  I miss Gary very much. I am sure many of us do.  I had conversations with him I will never forget and pens I will not sell simply because I sourced them from him.

I think many of us have noticed that GoPens.com is still up and I use it often as a reference. It has an awesome archive.  Does anyone know if there are any plans to reestablish it as it once was; as a site to buy and consign pens?

I believe their unsold inventory was moved to Fountain Pen Hospital for final sale, but I am hoping that someone will take up Gary's mantle and carry on with his work.  The GoPens.com URL name was again leased last year for another 2 years so it is my hope that this site and service will someday soon continue.  I know he had some close partners over the years, but won't presume anything in that regard as I am not knowledgeable there.

One last question:  Do you have recommendations for any other site like GoPens?

Thank you for your time.

My compliments to you all!

Registering a domain name is fairly cheap.  It would make sense to keep the name registered for an extended period, even if inactive, to keep someone from coming in and taking advantage of both the name and the good will that goes with it.

Gary was indeed a prince. I'm glad that Steve from FPH  is helping Gary's wife to dispose of stock and collection.

Spot on Ron.

Also, it would be valuable to keep the site up just for reference.  I have used it many times to set the market on a pen I was looking to acquire.

Thanks for your insight.
