Leaking Wahl Adjustable #9 lever fill pen, please help!

Hi all, longtime lurker here. Bought this Wahl adjustable pen off eBay. The seller said they cleaned with ultrasonic cleaner and changed the sac. I sent the pen off for a nib adjustment and came back my favorite writing nib of all. It would leak some a bit into the cap though - maybe a little more than a modern pen. I sent off to a respected vintage pen repair person who replaced the sac with a smaller more appropriate. It still leaked so I sent it back and he used some silicone. I noticed that when I carried in my shirt pocket for 30 minutes or so around, when uncap it the ink spilled everywhere. I then used water and water didn’t leak. I then finally pulled the nib and feed out and reset them as firm into pen as possible and this morning uncapped and ink spilled everywhere again. I’m at a loss. What is strange is that the section appears to be sunk into the pen and there is no o-ring or seal on top of the section. Any ideas to keep this pen from completely emptying ink on me?

Does the feed have the cut-outs for the slider on the nib?

Pen looks small for a 9 size nib but that could be perspective.

Did you ask Syd about this?

Actually just got off the phone with Syd and sending to him to get fixed up. Yeah this #9 was factory narrowed at the bottom to fit into a smaller size pen. Wahl should’ve been thinking 100 years ahead people in general would prefer larger pens! I think he’ll report back his findings others can see in a few weeks.

The section is either a 1-piece or 2-piece construction.  It should be a 2-piece unless maybe the pen has a drilled double check gold seal (but that'smaybe leads to another topic entirely).  Assuming it is a 2 piece "Personal Point" section the nib/feed holder is a screw-in element that if cracked will definitely leak a lot.  Replacement of the inner nib/feed collar/holder may be necessary.  I can not see the detail on the feed tail, but it should have a flat that fits/seats into and through the matching flat hole in the nib/feed collar which then screws into the section.
