I was looking for some information on what I believe to be in ink pounce if I’m even saying that correctly, it’s very cool and I believe it to be pretty rare. I’ll add some pictures on here. Thank you very much. Glad to join the forum.

That is pretty neat.  Of course, pounce is probably not as useful for fountain pen inks as it might be if you were using a dip pen (I know a lot of people who do scribal stuff).  Although there are some inks that do dry really slowly....

How large is the holder?  Because depending on the size, I'm wondering if it is also a salt shaker (or even a pepper shaker -- a guy I used to know told me once that if something only has three holes in the top, it's for pepper).

Thanks for the response. It’s got more than 3 holes. I found one that sold recently. It’s the exact same one, but you can tell the eyes are different.
