It was inspired by your librarian, which suggested ancient dusty scrolls, prophecies and "undecipherable/ unknown  ancient Snek which Essri speaks fluently 😊 Add to that @Mercian 's dragons, Muirdoor myth of creation my mind is like a cat with a laser beam and catnip
