Omas Galileo Galilei ('90's, maybe?)

I was recently gifted a couple of pens from a good friend.  After some work, I was able to get her Montblanc 146 writing very nicely.  Now, I am turning my attention to the other pen which is a celluloid Omas Galileo Galilei, either rollerball or ballpoint.  I'm just not sure.  I think it is probably from the '90's but I'm just basing that on some preliminary internet snooping.  What I'm trying to find out is whether I can obtain refills for this pen.  Does anyone know anything about these, what refills they require, and where I might find them?  I have figured out that a Schmidt 5888 and a Parker ballpoint refill won't fit.  I did notice that there are 3 angled notches on the back cap, if that helps (last photo).  It's a beautiful pen and a meaningful one since it was given to me by such a close friend.  Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Looks like a rollerball pen.  I would suggest looking for something like this:

https://www.therefillguide.com/product/omas-capless-rollerball-p8126-refill/

As an aside, the “Wild” celluloid pattern can be unstable.  It can outgas nitric acid.  Check the gold trim with a magnifying glass to see if there is pitting of the gold.  Store your celluloid pen in a well ventilated container away from your other pens.

Wow!  Thank you for all the good advice.  I’ve ordered the standard and short versions to see if either work.  I do keep it separate currently but will be diligent about that in the future.  Thanks again for the information.

Please let us know which refill fits.  I have the ballpoint and fountain pen from the Galileo in Wild Celluloid, but not the Rollerball.

Given delivery times, this may have to wait until after the holidays.  I’ll have to report back then.

I take that back @MidSouthern-Dad, the Schmidt refills arrived today and fit.  The 8126 refills come in both short and long versions.  The short version (3.88”) fit my Omas perfectly.  I’ve never been much for rollerball pens but these write very smoothly.  Thanks for therefillguide.com link.

BTW… I’m impressed you have the fountain pen version.  That looks like a really fun pen.  But, at $750 and (way) up on eBay, I’ll stick to admiring it from afar!

Surlyprof, if you care to search for it, there has been discussion previously among the pages of Italian brands on the subject of that "Wild" celluloid.
