Need info about Montegrappa 1055 VI Rollerball Pen

I’m new to the world of pens and recently came across a Montegrappa 1055 VI 925 Sterling Silver pen that’s been in my family for about 25 years. Since I’m still learning about pens, I’d love some guidance on a few things:

 

1) Value of Pen and its kit: I’m curious about current value of

the whole kit.

 2)Cleaning: The pen seems to have some tarnish, and I’m not sure if it needs a deep clean or just a polish. Although, i did clean it with toothpaste and brush. Is it in good condition after cleaning or not? (before-after photos included)

Looks like a large size Greek Key Reminiscence.

 

The actual value is whatever someone is willing to pay for it, but my guess would be in the $800 - $1,000 range since you have the box. Get a good quality jewler's polishing cloth and see what condition it's in. The more visible wear, the lower in the range it will be.
