Dear Friends,
As a faithful customer of Ranga Pens Company, I use to watch its portfolio and, from time to time, I get seduced by one or another of those beautiful Pens.
This time I couldn't resist to the Ranga model 4CS in Regular Ebonite Fountain Pen and I purchased two of them.
As I had already a Ranga Flex nib unit and a Bock full-flex nib unit, my order had the mention "No Nib" with the appropriate indication about threading.
The pair of Fountain Pens came in a single beautiful elegant box and I am going to keep both Fountain Pens together in it.
As usually, I found in it a separate Schmidt  ink converter for each Fountain Pen and a pipette to be used in the eyedropper mode.
Of course, I noticed that this model (4CS) is thinner  if compared to model 3C I purchased before, but this gives even more character to the overal look of this kind of Pen.
Besides, I have medium sized hands and that slenderness makes the 4CS Fountain Pens very comfortable to use.
In that respect I need also to mention that these Pens are  very light, increasing by that the ease of either cursive or calligraphy writing.
I cannot keep quiet about the threading cut inside the section. Well, that was amazingly acurately achieved in both cases and I could screw-in accordingly both nib units very easily.
Moreover, chosing to use the Fountain Pen with Bock nib unit as eyedropper, I had a very pleasant writing experience with it, without any ink leakage or hard start.
With the other Pen, I was very satisfied by the friction fit converter which connected firmly and tight to the Ranga Flex nib unit.
Additionally, I noticed that all the fountain Pens I purchased until now from Ranga Pens Company have the threads to connect the section to the barrel covered  by a special protection layer making the connection to be perfectly tight.
My practice demonstrated that the connection of the section to the nib unit is tight as well.
Another outstanding feature offered by the Ranga model 4CS is that there is no need of more than one turn to put on or take off the cap!
For more clarity I appended to this article some photos.
I am very grateful to Ranga Pens Company for the quality of the purchased Fountain Pens, which offer to me great hand writing pleasure.
Thank you Ranga Pens Company!
Best Regards
Anton-Mihai

Hi Anton-Mihai,

I just found this post of yours. Thanks for your review. I too am a fan of Ranga Pens and the Ranga 4CS is my favorite size/design as it bridges the gap in size between my old Montblanc 145 and the slightly larger 146. The smaller Montblanc 145 was my favorite of the two. In any case, Ranga recently introduced the 4CS in Acrylic, so I jumped on it. You can see images of the three Acrylic 4CS that I recently purchased in the link below. My focus is still on Indian ebonites; especially the "ripple" ebonites like the ones in your photos. Still, I'm glad I caved in and went outside my comfort zone with this purchase.

Very nice pens, @MILAMI.  These have a classic and very pleasing design.

Currently most used pen: Parker 51 Special F -- filled with R&K Verdigris
