Parker 51 Vac color question

So I spotted this 51 on a webpage from Spain

It is described as "Cream" and a Piston Filler...

Is there is a possibility the pen was made in a different color there or could it be perhaps be that this is faded "Cocoa"? So many questions....

Thanks

John

Well, I'm a bit confused myself.  Because 51s weren't piston fillers.  And with the cap posted, I can't tell if it's a 51 Vac or a 51 Aerometric.  But my gut feeling  (from the photos) is that it's the latter, and that it's probably Cocoa as far as the color goes.

Hope this helps.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

The colour IMO is Cocoa. Sometimes the colours on the web can look a little different due to the camera, light, etc,

Aerometric Cocoa. A non-pen-person is expected to call the aerometric filler whatever she/he thinks "serves the purpose".
