How to salvage Parker 75 nib?

jthole

Recommended Posts

Recently I got a box with mainly Sheaffer parts, but it also contained this Parker 75 nib, with a broken feed.

I'd like to salvage the nib (obviously I don't mind about the feed); in theory it should slide off, but what would be my best option without specialized tools?

Thanks!

Removal of these nibs without the tool can easily go wrong so If you plan to sell it, I would sell it with the broken feed still attached. A buyer is supposed to have the tool.

$45 can buy you the nib removal tool from pentooling. Or if you are good with the lathe, you can make one yourself.

In case you wish to write to me, pls use ONLY email by clicking here. I do not check PMs. Thank you.

Thanks all! I think I’ll try to sell the nib and (remnants of) the feed together.

I can't see it on there, only 14K and Made in USA.

But looking at it, I would say a F or maybe M.
