What's your three most used inks?

I had around 50 ink bottles, and so i try to rotate regularly.     That said, gun to head, if i had to pick favorites to rotate more often, they would be:

- Iro Kujaku

- Iro Kon Peki

- Vinta Blue Blood

(I use a lot of greens, browns and purples - but none of them really stands out the way these three do)

True bliss: knowing that the guy next to you is suffering more than you are.

Hands down my absolutely most used ink is Pelikan 4001 Blue Black. I have finished off something north of 5 62.5 ml bottles.

I am on my second bottle (or more) of each of the following:

Waterman Serenity Blue (about ready to get another Serenity Blue)

Levenger Amethyst, Forest Green, Cobalt Blue, Blue Bahama (finished two of Pomegranate long discontinued)

KWZI El Dorado and Pine Green

Lamy Pacific/Turquoise

Edelstein Olivine

That's just off the top of my head. I have a bin full of empties downstairs.

I love Pelikan Blue Black.  I always have it loaded in at least one pen and it is an ink that works everywhere and writes on most anything.

Currently most used pen: Lamy 2000, Makrolon <F> -- filled with Lamy Pink Cliff ink

Exactly. I have had it in my Pelikan 140 since the 140 arrived in August 2017.  There have been two fills of something else early on. I am not even sure what it was (Diamine Sherwood Green maybe?). And the 140 is always inked.

9 pens inked with sheen or suspected sheen inks in one pen cup...plus one with Lamy Dark Lilac...in a Lamy Person, sitting alone on the desk, in it don't play well with others, being black titanium oxide.

6 assorted blues in another pen cup.

4 who knows what in a cup.

A blue Pelikan 605 with Octopus Bronze.

A marbled blue '91-97 Pelikan 200 with DA Zementgrau,

.....................

There must be twenty inks that I should or could use that have waited  as long as my beard.

R&K Alt-goldgreen, Apache Sunset,Herbin Vert Empire.

DA Golf, an odd ink that shades well but has only been filled once, lacks depth, in it is a tad too pastel.  I will use that ink this year....

The bottle is now out of that ink box and in sight.

Color-wise, and only that, there's one ink that I keep going for time and time again: De Atramentis Aubergine. But it's flat, and I'm big into shading inks 😐

I gave that to a neighbor, I set up with the basic 4 widths and flexes....regular flex EF, maxi-semi-flex F, regular flex M, and a semi-flex OB.

He had a Parker nail M.
