Lucky PIF and rekindled craze for FP and inks

Recently I was lucky to win a PIF from a generous donor. He mentioned that he is donating Lamy safari and two blue inks (waterman and alchemy).

When the parcel arrived, i was excited with the receipt of an additional surprise of Krishna ink. I have never tried Alchemy  (wow.. look at the beatiful bottle) or Krishna ink.

the contents came very well packed and without attempting any customary pen flushing, i jumped and inked the pen with krishna ink.  It was a deligtful experience.

When i exchanged my thanks, the donor asked me to check the alchemy ink, for it was not used for long. I then inked my ASA emperor. The ink behaved so well. I have read that the alchemy(candy sea) ink gives a purplish sheen.

The nib tip is "fine" and perhaps that coudnt bring the sheen in it. But whenever i rest the pen and restart, the first alphabet turns purple and so are some alphabets that are stressed in the paper taking longer time to dry.
