Parker 45 O and R nibs.

I recently acquired an O marked Parker 45. The nib is left foot Oblique, stubbish, and slightly wider than the R ( Left foot oblique Medium) nib that I have. Both the pens are made in England and nibs are 14Ct.

Writing sample of the O nib.

I would like to learn more about the O nibs and a copy of the Parker nib chart if any one can share.

Thanks.
Hari.

Those two nibs were called "Right Obliques" by Parker.
The "R" nib is a Medium Right Oblique, and the "O" nib is an Extra Broad Oblique.

Thank you for this super information with pics. Very helpful. The Z is the Broad oblique and O is then the next bigger one at Extra broad.

yes Right oblique for Parker is left foot oblique (sloping down like the toes on the left foot) for mere mortals. 😅 and their Right foot oblique was called Reverse Oblique?

Sigh.  Two more 45 nibs to lust after now.... :headsmack:

Thanks for the photos and the information about the nibs.  And, well, not....
