Platinum Preppy Maki-e durability

How durable is the maki-e like printing on the Platinum Preppy's? Some of the designs are calling out to me, but I'm worried that I'll have to keep them just in a display case to preserve the designs. Is light indoor usage without going into bags or pen sleeves okay?

 

Or at $13 a pop, just get two: One for use and on to keep mint?

a pen is made to be used otherwise it is pointless, no pun intended.

at the price you mention THEY have to be used no matter what 😊

like people, few lucky ones, that own WW2 warbirds. They fly them at every occasion or lend them out to generate revenue for the upkeep 😊

Some people have Jags that only stay in the garage... Or do they only stay in the garage due to faulty electrical systems. 🙂
