Dear Friends,
In Nov.2022 I was the happy customer of Ranga Pen Company in India, purchasing a handmade Ranga 3C Fountain Pen in Regular Ebonite.
Ranga manufactured the pen  exceptionally well and, because I already had a JoWo Nib Unit #6, I made the option: "Without Nib/Threaded for JoWo #6".
The Ranga Fountain Pen and the JoWo Nib Unit #6 matched perfectly and writing with that pen (in eyedropper filling variant)proved to be a real delight!
In July, this year (2024), I ordered to Ranga Pen Company a new Ranga 3C Fountain Pen in Regular Ebonite , but readily equipped this time with a Ranga Flex Nib Unit.
Manufacturing and delivery time were both amazingly short and the correspondence with Mr. Kandan was a great pleasure.
This time, I chose to use the  Schmidt converter the pen came with and started to write, using, as usually, Quink from Parker Blue Ink.
The nib is marked "F", but it looks like it is a "F-to-EF" and it is not as flexible as the flexible dip nibs, but it appears that with the appropriate pressure applied on it could reach a medium line.
Looking at the nib interesting shape I would say it would be capable of more, but I have reasons of being shy with it at the moment.
Why is that?
I have enough experience with flexible dip nibs and none at all with flexible Fountain Pen nibs.
There are  differences between those two kinds of nibs, the most noticeable being the smaller amount of pressure needed with the dip nibs in order to create broader lines.
On the other hand though, a flex nib unit on a Fountain Pen is a long run device and the writer needs a certain time to properly learn its features. There are limits in that and the writer needs to be aware of them in order not to damage the nib unit.
This learning process would be somehow like riding an unknown pure breed horse. In the beginning the rider would be shy, but the more she/he would learn about that particular horse, the more would love and enjoy it.
Well, I would say that the Ranga flex Nib Unit has a big potential, but I need more practice in order to fully discover it!
I added some pictures to this review, but I assure you that, in reality, the Fountain Pen and its beautiful box look much better.
Finally, I need to say that this model of a Fountain Pen and the Nib Unit are appropriate to my hand and to my writing style.
I have medium-to-small hands and I use moderated pressure on the nib.The Fountain Pen is surprisingly light and also very comfortable to hold during writing.
Thank you very much Ranga Pen Company!

Best Regards

Anton-Mihai

Nice pen! If the nib is a Kanwrite (steel) Ultraflex unit, then yes, it takes much more pressure to flex than, say, a vintage gold flex nib. Oddly enough, this is why I like the Kanwrite (steel) Ultraflex nib for my daily writing. If I need true flex capability, I return to my dip pens.
