VP, custom 74, or opus 88?

I don’t see any problem in taking nice pens to school. My own pens in school are pens that I still use o; a regular basis. I did have one casually, a Cross Century 14k section and niib. I think if you’re caregivers and keep track of your pens, you’ll be alright. If it’s more manageable to bring a Safari or a  Preppy to class and use higher end pens for homework and research, so be it. Uni is hard, if having something enjoyable makes it easier somehow, I’m all for it.  Just don’t lend out any of your pens and drop off your school stuff in your room before you go hang out if it’s not a study session, they should be fine as long as you have a trusted roommate situation.

Top 5 of 19 currently inked pens:

MontBlanc 144 IB, Herbin Orange Indien/ Wearingeul Frost

Sailor x Daimaru Central Rockhopper Penguin PGS mini, Sailor Wonder Blue

Parker 88 Place Vendôme IB, Diamine Golden Sands

Salz Peter Pan 18k gold filled filligree fine flex, Waterman Serenity Blue

Pilot Silvern Dragon IB, Iroshizuku Kiri-Same

always looking for penguin fountain pens and stationery

Yep!  If you're careful and keep your pens in your pocket/put away, you won't have a problem.  Probably still worth keeping a few uniballs or G2s or something (or even bics!) to give away to the guy who always forgets his pen (and always sits behind YOU and thus steals/begs you for one).

That's my thought! Worst comes to worst I could bring ones I can replace easily to class and use the other more expensive ones to make studying and research more palletable. Or I could bring those to class as well as long as I am paying attention
