Could anyone identify this pen?

Hi everyone,

I recently stumbled upon an interesting pen. I was in the market for a vintage Parker 75 for a while and in my search, I came across this pen. At first, it didn't look like a real Parker, because I couldn't find the particular pattern anywhere. The nib and converter show Parker. Ok the belly of the grip it has the number '6537' engraved in it. Could anyone help me identify this pen. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards, Lars

The nib section is made by Parker and originates from Italy, where the Parker 75 nib sections (as well as other models) were imprinted with serial numbers and issued with matching authenticity certificates.

The cap and barrel also likely originates from Italy but were not made by Parker and are what I call artisan pieces, made by jewellers and are often unique designs. Have you checked the pen over carefully for gold

marks? I would be very surprised if the cap and barrel are not made from 18 carat gold or 14 carat at least.

Where did you find it? It’s a very lucky find, well done!

I will say up front I have no idea what flavor of pen that is. But that is a gorgeous pen. Congratulations on finding such a pen.

A nice find indeed. Are there any gold content marks anywhere on the pen? If so, it may be a 18K solid gold Parker from Boucheron, France. The clip is a bit peculiar though.

Search the web for "Parker 75 Basketweave", and this may also be of interest:

I'm using my favorite ink. The discontinued Pilot Iroshizuku Ina-Ho.

The pen has '750' marks on the cap and body, which sughests it is 18kt gold. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the response. The cap supports '750' marks, which suggest it is made from 18kt gold. There is, what I think, is a jewelers mark on the cap. Could you maybe identify it? Thanks in advance.

I found it on a local second hand site, paid €15 for a lot of 6 pens, with this one being a part of it. I believe my luck for the rest of 2024 is completely gone 😝.
