Hello from Tommaso, an Italian residing in Newbury, England!

A very good morning to everyone!

As many who joined this forum, for me it all started when I found my school pen (Montblanc 145) and wanted it fixed. From there, one pen led to another, and I am now an aspiring collector! I searched this forum for the two topics of interest (milestones and iconic), but found hundreds of threads/posts! I got lost.

Which are the most significant threads in this forum (or elsewhere) that list and discuss:

  1. the pens that better represent the milestones of fountain pen evolution;
  2. the pens that are considered most iconic?

Kind regards,

Tommaso

Could anyone point me to the best thread to choose how to grow my collection?

  1. Which pens better represent the milestones of fountain pen evolution?
  2. Which pens are considered most iconic?

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.

Hello and Welcome from down south.

I used to stay in Echinswell just outside of Newbury and I worked in Newbury, nice place!

As for your 2 questions, I am not sure I can answer them as there are too many variables, sorry.

I live in Kingsclere! That's less than a couple of miles away! We drive through Ecchinswell every morning to go to school to Burghclere, St Michaels!

You have successfully entered a rabbit hole/warren, who knows what it'll yield and where it'll lead.

Enjoy the fascinating journey and feel free to ask/share.  thumbup.gif
