A glitter ink trick

Deleted, bored 48 folks in a row.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

It was something 48 knew, so they didn't comment...had never told me either...or there were 48 with out glitter ink.

Time @ how long it takes to get the glitter to start settling to the bottom of the bottle after the first well shaking.

Do not do as I had done, fill from the top of a well shanken bottle...which was why i wasn't getting as much glitter as some.

Fill deep as the glitter settles to the bottom, for golden sands glitter.

I was  one of those who looked and did not comment... I remember thinking, now that's interesting, must try it the next time I try one of my glitter inks... but I did not feel like commenting. Does not mean I was bored... just that I had nothing worthwhile to add. (I do a lot of just reading here, don't always feel a need to comment...) so, no need to feel bad, or that you bored us. Not me, that's for sure.

Thank you...but a :headsmack: or a ,  or a  would give feedback.

I did find it interesting in I'd been filling from the top of the bottle and not in the settling dust.

And I couldn't understand why I was getting next to nothing ..at best tilt to see, and others were getting golden sands.

And no one was saying fill in the bottom with settling glitter.

It's always nice when you figure out a mystery... or even someone explains it to you.

I hope I'll remember your remark about feedback... for next time.

I guess this one gives you options: fill from the top of the bottle to minimize the quantity of glitter, or lower down to get more.

(and that would mean more work cleaning the pen, since that glitter does seem to stick to feeds, does it not?) There may even be an optimum depth from which to fill a pen... hm... I smell a project lurking there...

I don't worry about that, having piston fillers, can use another blue with out glitter, and let it clean itself....or what other color, I'll have something near.

There are times when I'm not overly persnickety as long as it's to once side or the other of the same  basic color. The glitter will not really show up much, and if it does ...fine.

Thanks for that - I'm going to see if that cleans the pen enough for my tastes... probably it will.
