Typewriter script as journal entry headers with a pen that might be a strange variation of what looks like a Wing Sung 3008

Should I go for smaller text for this, or what else do I add or remove in my journal headers?

Pen used: Wing Sung 3008? I'm not exactly sure, since its just a cheapo pen that I found at shopee which is only labeled as a fountain pen, bought it because it looked pretty close to a 3008
Ink: Ostrich Solar Term Sycamore Tree
Paper: Cheap notebook paper

Non intercedere, sed dirigere.

I have no right to dictate what happens to those around me, but it is as a choice, and my choice is to dictate what happens after.

The pen shown in the photo has a “duck bill” style of clip, and therefore is not a Wing Sung 3008.

I think it's fine to use a different script (analogous to typeface or font) for headings and such, as long as you're happy with how you execute that with your hand and pen.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

⬆️ This!

It is your journal; you can do - and should only do - whatever makes you happy!

Some people use a different ink/pen to write headings from the one/s that they use for the text of their journal entries;
some people write in different scripts for their headings, as you have done here (and which strikes me as a really good way to continually practice writing in another ‘script’);
some people underline their headings (& some do so in another colour);
some people alternate between pens/inks from one entry to the next;
some people use BLOCK CAPITALS for their headings;
some people use only the date as their heading;
some people include their location in their headings;
some people use different techniques at different times - they may get bored of one style and wish to try another, or may wish to use especially-emphatic headings for the entries in their journal that concern life-events that they have found to be especially-significant to them. E.g. my own journalling practices/preferences have varied over the years.

There are many, many ways in which it is possible to write the headings in one’s private journal.
No one ‘way’ is the ‘right’ one.
You should just choose whichever way of writing a heading appeals to you at whatever time you are writing any entry. You are allowed to switch between different styles, or to try out new ones.
It is, after all, your private journal.

That said, if you are using your journal as a way of recording events for a professional purpose, and it is going to be read by colleagues/supervisors, your employer (or the relevant professional body) will probably have specified a preferred ‘format’ for recording your journal entries, in which case you should follow whatever format that is.

M.
