Yes, Sailor charged their nib design about 3 years ago.  I personally prefer the old nib design.

Me too. @USG’s pens seem to have the new design without the year on it, but both anchors are different.

Top 5 of 26 (in no particular order) currently inked pens:

Pelikan M300 CIF, Pelikan Edelstein Golden Beryl

MontBlanc 144R F, Diamine Bah Humbug

Sheaffer 3-25 EF ringtop, Skrip Black

Waterman Caréne Black Sea, Teranishi Lady Emerald

Pilot 742 FA, Namiki Purple cartridge

always looking for penguin fountain pens and stationery

Did you order a 11-2024 silver trim model? That's what it looks like.

Haha, Nope, didn't order the silver model... It's the color of 14K gold.

I think I remember that there were a few one-tone 21k nibs for the ProGear which had a lighter color.

Also the gold of the two-tone nibs seems lighter to me.

The picture below is from https://www.jetpens.com/Sailor-Pro-Gear-Fountain-Pen-Christmas-Spice-Tea-21k-Medium-Nib-Limited-Edition/pd/36126

Starting form September 2024 , Sailor changed the gold plating process. More info at https://en.sailor.co.jp/topics/specification-change-plating-process/

Sailor sent me that link too.

OTOH, if I'm not mistaken, Sailor has said that the difference between their 14K nibs and 21K was the pale gold color of their 14K nibs relative to the deeper darker yellow color of their 21K nibs.
