Can anyone tell me where I can acquire a section(mine has a crack) and a (threaded) converter for the first series Expert from waterman. I’m in Australia and the waterman agents want me to send it to them in France. Which I won’t do as it contains the smoothest nib I own.

There are no threaded converters I know of.

T h e early twist converters had a stainless reinforcing ring around the end. I have some spares of this style. The later ones, where this flange was made of hard plastic, just split. Sometimes after only a few uses.

I’ve taken a few pix of the amazingly smooth and beautiful Waterman Expert 1. 
I need to find another section, as mine is split and another threaded converter to go into that section, as a spare.

ive never seen a threaded converter before. 
Are you familiar with the Expert first series?

I think I have a couple. I will dig them out and see which converters fit.
