Montblanc 220 Plated Nib?

Were any of the 220 pens made with gold plated nibs?  I have what I think is a 220 and it appears the nib is plated as it looks like its flaking off a bit.

Not on the 220 (should have a 14K gold nib) but on the 310:

This was the pen I got in the 1980s when switching schools for fifth grade and I still have this pen.

Oh!  It's a 310 then.  Thanks for that!  So this plating coming off makes more sense now.   Just unfortunate
