Broke a Vacumatic pump

I do have the tools from pentooling to help push through the pump from inside the barrel.

I'm currently working on a Vacumatic with a plastic pump.   The nut came out fine but the pump won't budge yet.

I have the barrel filled with some rapido-eze currently.  All the sac appears to be out.  Next step will be some naptha in the barrel if an overnight soak with that rapido-eze doesn't work.

I'm also working on one with a metal pump (speed line). Struggling with the nid section removal.  I see people say they soak the pen in pen cleaner (9 to 1 water/ammonia). I have also heard that soaking can lead to the plastic turning white so I don't know if it's safe to soak the whole pen or not.

Everything comes loose eventually. You can fill the inside of the pen with liquid, but I wouldn’t soak a vac. Rapideze is great for ink, but it is not likely ink that is keeping the filler in place.

You can find instructions for the Binder Filler Knockout Tool to  knock out the filler from the section end of the barrel.
