I have to say this is odd because my overall experience with Pelikan (I own 5 at the moment but have owned a total of 7) is that they are super reliable, and with Montblanc (I have 11) they were hit or miss but mostly miss until 7 years go or so.

So, not able to keep track of your experience since there are multiple pens of similar model numbers, what do you currently have and what are the current problems and maybe we can help  you fix them.

This is my Issue:

Do you have a loupe you can use to see if it's truly too tight a gap and not just one out of alignment tine?

I don’t have one but just ordered for a loupe 30x. I will check tomorrow and report back.

Look to see if the tines are misaligned..even a tiny bit...if so, place your thumbnail at the start of the  breather hole, and to below the hole,  and press the up tine down under the lower tine, for about 2 seconds, do that three times, misalignment should be gone.

What has that to do with clicking I don't know, I have no clicking pens that I remember. If I had one, then pressing the up tine down cured it. With 120 pens I could have had one.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

There is light passing through the tines but not at the nib head.

The above link will help you,  but there should be some line at the end (but it should get less as you get to the tip then it is at the back) sounds like they'd benefit from being splayed a bit

Hey All,

Some good news!

Pen World sent me a replacement nib for the M1000, I requested for a fine and they did send me the fine.

This one (so far) has no issues with the clicking and writes well.

Excellent outcome from my perspective.
