Been using this ink for a long time now. Similar to F&C Dark Moss but red sheen as opposed to Moss' gold. Currently have in in an Optima green/blue Auroloide.

Thanks for sharing your experience, especially with the sheen :)

If anyone has used both Diamine Dark Forest and Diamine Aurora Borealis, could you give any indication of how they compare? I would imagine Aurora Borealis probably has more blue, and is probably not as dark, but otherwise? I'm using AB a lot at the moment, but have been thinking about Dark Forest, too. Are they too similar to be worth having one of each?

All comments on the two would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

@Caddington try using the Anderson ink tool and you'll get an approximate idea of how they compare:

https://andersonpens.com/ink-tool/

Looks like an excellent tool, but does have a few limitations. It lists Aurora Borealis as a blue, rather than a green (though I think it is much more green than blue) and you can only compare 'similar' colours. So you cannot compare AB to other greens, only to blues. . Also, it doesn't list Forest Green at all, so cannot compare that to anything.

So I can't really use it for this comparison, but may do so for other inks.

Thanks anyway.

Actually both inks are listed :)

All you have to do is choose filter by brand. Choose Diamine. And the choose the inks on the level below:

Excellent review as always. I think the tree is reminding us how trees provide homes to birds and animals.
