The Sheaffer Taranis is listed, but I'd also add the Sheaffer Icon to the list.  It's similar to the Taranis but a little more cigar-shaped, with a hooded nib and a snap cap.

Sheaffer Icon looks quite close to Lamy 2000. There are two things missing: nibs wide variety and the piston filling

For hooded nibs look at the Parker 61, Sheaffer pfm series these are all a lot older!

Montblanc ealier pens also have hooded nibs.

The teal colored Parker second from the left looks like a Parker 45, not a Jotter

MontBlanc 224 came in Makrolon.

Mine is smooth, not rough. Looks rougher than it is.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.

When they are capped, the brushed-chrome effect bodies of the two 1970s Pelikan models called ‘Silverstar’ (P18 & P478) remind me of the all-steel version of the Lamy 2000.

⬆️ Click-ye upon yonder link, and then scroll down through the list of models to see photos of the P18 and P478 models.
Clicking on the small photos embigulates them.
