Parker 51 Signet Demi?

Did Parker ever make a Demi version of the 51 Signet? I got one today that is very obviously shorter than a standard 51 and has the hoop filler of a 51 Special which says “Parker 51”.  I can’t say I have ever seen this so I’m wondering if I got a Frankenpen of some kind….
