An Old Guider Pen(with Kanwrite 14K nib)

This is an Old Guider pen which comes in a beautiful colour pattern, which I don't see around in today's Indian ebonite pens.

The pen size is between Guider Big and Guider Zimbo/Maharaja and is very comfortable for me. Though I have several Guiders that are bigger than this, it's this Guider that holds the maximum ink capacity - an astounding 7.2ml.

I have fitted a Kanwrite 14K gold nib on it, which was a gift from a kind Friend and which makes it even more special for me 🙂

Have included Ratnamson Supreme and Woodex 39 for size comparison

Approximate Measurements:

Capped: 156mm

Uncapped(with Guider nib): 137mm

Max Cap Width: 18mm

Max Barrel Width: 17mm

Thank you. That's Kanwrite 35mm on Woodex, perhaps the pic isn't that clear. The Kanwrite gold nib is Broad Regular. Didn't get time to test it out though.

Any idea if and where the 14k Kanwrite nib can be purchased?

Wanted to swap it with the #5 on my Jinhao 82. I believe it is a swappable nib, and with a 14k, I basically have a Sailor 1911 for less than half the price :)

@ElPlacerDeLaEscritura Thanks for providing the link. Mine is a #6 35mm nib. Haven't used it much, but it feels softer than the Kanwrite steel nibs, just as most gold nibs are supposed to feel I guess.

@nightfury11 Mine is a 35mm size 6 nib, so please check for compatibility with your existing nib.

A lovely pen and a great nib too. Its the first time I am seeing this ebonite pattern. 7.2 is humongous.

Thank you. I like the pattern; looks different than what we usually see today. The only ebonite pen that I have which holds more ink capacity than this is Mohan Jumbo with 8ml capacity.
