Anyone held or own the Visconti Medici FP in Briarwood?

I am curious as to how their silk/acrylic material feels in the hand. If anyone knows, would appreciate hearing from you.

Yes I own one. The material is beautiful, really stunning and looks just like the sales adverts etc. (like a wooden pen but even better) The skeletonised Fleur de Lis ink window is likewise very well crafted and is very useful for operating the double reservoir.

 

In terms of feel, it is slightly lighter than the Homo Sapiens bronze age, and doesn't have the warm feel that HS lovers will have become accustomed to. It is very smooth to the touch and is very comfortable to hold.

 

The hook safe lock mechanism feels different to my HS's, not quite as smooth but maybe that's just my pen, I haven't held more than one to compare.
