Yep.  These Pilot clear sections can be a royal pain to clean.  An ultrasonic cleaner may help.  Or not...

This is the De Atramentis Document ink I bought. I won’t be putting it in a demonstrator now. 
 

Doyou is one of the often mentioned cleaning inks. It has cleared the ink window on my Visconti Wall Street in red that was stained by J Herbin Rouge Hematite. Noodler’s eel ink red rattler is another. It cleared the blue stains in a demonstrator ink barrel of @amberleadavis’s pen.
