Wishing everyone who posted good luck in one day fulfilling their pen wishes. I keep looking on eBay for a True Writer Kyoto.

Check with eBay seller Speerbob.  If he doesn't have one hidden somewhere he has a way of finding out-of-productin Levengers.  He's a great guy to do business with.

@kestrel so true about Speerbob. I messaged him recently, and he said he had mostly rollerballs and ballpoints.

I’ve bought what I really think is the Kyoto. It was a bit more than I’d like to pay, but oh well.

Wrapping it up to take it to the post office has left me feeling down...

They're not that rare and difficult overseas, but the shipping and exchange make it so for here.

So sorry the pen you received was cracked. I feel for you. I think people in other countries don’t understand that, like me. I huff over a $10 shipping fee which probably sounds low to you.

I had to look at the Pen Boutique email. There is a Monteverde Invincia Vega - Starlight. Well, it could be a birthday gift. Yes, that would work.

I was looking at some of those on the Goulet Pens website.  But then I looked at the "Technical Specs" part of the listing, and the capped weight is 42 grams.  So too heavy for me to use posted.  :crybaby:

I was so sad when I saw that, because the Starlight Purple really caught my eye....

@inkstainedruth if a pen is long enough, I write with it unposted. Which is what I’ll have to do with the Jinhao 999 Twin Dragon Pen I got that weighs 3 3/4 ounces. Yet that pen is designed to post the cap by screwing it on.

All the Invincia Starlight colors look good. I have no idea which one I’d want. Yellow is in the lead. I have a Star chart on my bedroom wall I got at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. It shows star temperatures. I’ll maybe take a photo of that part, and post it. I might choose based on what color the real stars actually are. Blue qualifies.

No... there are only four, right? You would want to collect all of them. Pens are like that. And that's the fun part. Maybe.

Will work for pens...

You sneaky enabler. And here I was planning on writing to you today. I still will. I’d have to see the pen in person. Most space themed or named pens fall short of Space. So one would do. But then, after several years owning one Monteverde Mountains of the World pen, I did order a lot more of those, but not a completist.

As far as the Monteverde Invincia Vega Starlight, for actual star colors, I’d go off this.

This section is from the upper right. Blue, white, yellow, orange and red. That means no green or purple for me.

Oh dear, I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more pens, inks, or paper this month. That lasted five days as I bought a Pelikan M200 Cognac Italic. The same seller has a Pelikan M800 Renaissance Brown and will fit it with an italic broad nib for me. I'm really torn on this one. I love the ocean swirl they also sold me a couple of years ago and I think I'd enjoy the Renaissance Brown just as much, but I so don't need another fountain pen.

I said that with 10...20....50....100...yep, don't need any more pens, which is why I have 120 or more.

I need a Grand Place 600 (Which has never gotten cheaper....never...:crybaby:, in I don't care for the 800's Large size, as much as I liked the Renaissance Brown.

The Cognac is a lovely, lovely pen. I have wanted one, often and on, but just for the color (I already own an M200). But I always talk myself out of it, That's how I save.

I am currently not seeking or wishing for any pens.

If I haven't mentioned it a original Pelikan 101 full tortoise, pre or just after the War.

The picture in my signature is a full tortoise Boehler from just after the Boehler brothers split their Osmia firm in '38. mdl 54 Gold....I have a black, gray and pearl marbled 540, that is the same size.

Boehler like Osmia had different 4-5 different finials and 3-4 different clips.

It's a pencil stub masquerading as a pen! So cute! *Makes Japanese anime cute sounds.*

That’s the very sound that came out of my mouth.
