Just thought I'd post a pic of all the pens I am currently using(including two a recently purchased).   From left to right: Platinum Procyon, Pilot Metropolitan, Lamy Safari, Twisb Eco, Conklin Duragraph, Pilot Explorer, Pilot Prera.  The two new additions are the Platiinum Procyon and the Conklin Duragraph.

Nice range of pens.  What are the different nibs on them?

I love my Safaris and Metropolitans.  I've been eyeing Pilot Explorers, but can't decide on the color or nib width.  And I keep lusting after a Purple Nights Duragraph, but am holding off for the time being (and again, can't decide on what nib width to get for that).

Thanks.

My husband liked the Safari he had me get him (his also has an EF nib on it) but has misplaced it (I tried one with an EF nib at a table at a pen show I was at several years ago, but I found it scratchy).  My first Metropolitan has an M nib; the second one has a 1 mm stub on it.

I have to say for low-end, budget pens, Metropolitans are really nice writers.  And while I wasn't sure at first that I'd be able to get used to the triangular section on Safaris/al-Stars, I'm absolutely sold on them now.
