Cartridge for a Pilot Elite Pocket Pen

I have an older Pilot Elite Pocket pen with a posting nib.  I tried a universal short Montblanc cartridge, but it just poured ink out of the nib.  What cartridges will fit in this pen?

As long as there is nothing wrong with the pen, any modern Pilot fountain pen ink cartridge will fit. Each of the three largest Japanese pen manufacturers - Pilot, Platinum, and Sailor - use proprietary ink cartridges, i.e. the brand of the ink cartridge must be the same as that of the pen.

Enjoy the pen!

All (well, most) pilot pens takes pilot's cartridge.  The older generation Elite also takes pilot's own cartridge.

Also, a picture of the pen would helps.

I find that for all of my pocket-sized Pilot fountain pens, vintage or recent, the Con-40 type of converter fits just fine.

Con-40 is Pilot's own converter.

It is a newer type of mini-sized converter design for Pilot fountain pens and still in production, so should be easy to find.

As for cartridge, Pilot's own cartridges should fit just fine as well.
