Today I filled my Pelikan M400 (tortoise, OM nib) with Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue. The OM nib doesn’t give that much line variation, but it’s a very good writer.

200 Petrel M.......Just now???? was once gold plated...but it fell off just stabbing the nib into a wet sponge cup.????Could be from a gold glitter ink, in the picture shows plain steel.

No idea what ink, outside of blue in I had neglected to add that to my index card for that pen.

Could be I used this pen with Pelikan Golden Lapis or Diamine Arctic Blue....Yep......that is what happens when one don't put the ink on the index card.

Well I'm happy the gold plating that wasn't there didn't fall off.

I used the Cognac that got the italic nib from the Cafe Creme. I wrote down who to vote for, and how to vote on the two amendments on the ballot. The pad is a Clairefontaine Europa.
