I'm enjoying a new ink haul, so I'm going backwards. I do love this new Lamy Dark Lilac in my Pelikan M600 Glauco Cambon. It feels like all the colors!

Beautiful. A winning combination.

Green marbled 381 regular flex OB

Stoen that is one of my grail Pens. That and the full tortoise of that era.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

That’s the first Pelikan from my collection. It used to belong to my grandpa.

NICE!
I'm so jealous that you not only have a nice pen, but one that's a family heirloom at that....

Thanks for your kind words, @Bo Bo Olson & @inkstainedruth.

Having such a pen in one’s heirloom obliges in a way.

“Full tortoise” 101N is a nice pen too, but there’s also its less known “cousin”, the “dark tortoise”.

My “dark tortoise” has a lovely ST nib.

@stoen that dark tortoise 101N is gorgeous. I didn't even know that model existed. If I collected vintage pens that would be on my wish list.

Today, I'm writing with my M800 red and black with a modified broad cursive italic nib and a new ink. This pen was produced sometime in Pelikan's modern era, but I can't remember the exact year.

Edited to add: Back when this model was a special edition in 2001.

Gorgeous pen. Blue stripe M800 today. Fine nib and Edelstein Sapphire.

I could deal with a dark tortoise (which I didn't know about).....of course I could deal with the lighter version also.

................

As soon as the court case of wallet abuse between me and my wallet is settled in court, I could go looking for either.B)

Using, a black M481 springy regular flex  (half gold plated) M. Diamine Ultra Green, a very, very nice shading ink...think it will be that pen's main ink for quite some while.

Send it back to Pelikan...even if older than warentee. Get it fixed.

It's not life time free like it was and is by Lamy (of models they still make, in I doubt if they repair 27 & 99's) and Cross.

Dam, I forgot, living in Germany means I don't have to deal with Chartpack.

Ask Ron Zorn then or any other good repair man.

Pelikan M200 Copper Rose Gold EF, inked with Edelstein Smoky Quartz. I'm not one for sparkly pens, but I made an exception for this one: the copperish barrel is quietly gorgeous. It would be cool if they did a black/copper version of the pen as well.

Can you show a picture of that pen? I need to decide to get one or not.

I'm so sorry. That's always been my luck with vintage pens as well. Usually after I've ponied up the bucks to have them professionally restored.

Like @Cjtamu, yesterday was my M800 blue and black, but with a custom broad cursive italic nib and Alchemy inks Candy Sea. Today, it's my new M805 Pressman with an extra fine nib. I'm still on my maiden fill and it's another Alchemy Ink: Wizard's Pencil. Not a very exotic combo, but a smooth, free flowing pleasure to write with.

@debraji Solid pairing choice!
