Hello from Singapore!

Hello FPN,

Excited to be here! I am from Singapore, and I had just begun exploring into the world of fountain pens last year. My favourite brands would be Japan's big 3, and I recently added the Pilot Capless Raden Water Surface to my collection, a pen that I find absolutely captivating. Before joining this forum, I have just been lurking around for the valuable advice that has been shared here. Now, I'm looking forward to being an active part of it and can't wait to make new friends on this forum.

Cheers!

Aloha @FoneBandit. Welcome to FPN and greetings Pacific neighbor.

I spent a very few days in Singapore after a conference in KL and a few days in lovely Penang. You live in a very interesting place with some amazing food options. I saw quite a few fountain pen shops, although I seem to recall many were name brand boutiques. Still it is becoming more rare these days to have brick and mortar shops anywhere in the world. Inky Rocks enjoyed visiting Singapore and created a cool video on them and Atelier Musubi. (I'm posting more for others, since I imagine this would not have anything new for you).

I'm also a big of Japan's big 3 and love my VP/Capless as an EDC, although mine is simply matte black. I don't think I trust myself with a raden pen in my pocket :)

From time to time I see online sales from Singapore of interesting NOS items from the region. It must be fun to wander into those finds. I love the old stainless pens from the 70s and 80s.
