Not foreseen. The series for Wintel Olympic game is more in the blue-grey color and the Solitaire is in the style of the Le Petit Prince Aviator (without the leather for the cap, everything is metal engraved cap and barrel).

Or you may say … solitaire is in the style of le petite prince aviator coffret edition…( a set of le petite prince solitaire in all metal and all leather pens- like the one on the right)04ED3A47-3335-4CEC-B108-3C7BEE1904EF.thumb.jpeg.5d839fd63984d1c92f47cfc93b0e38d6.jpeg

i hope posting videos of the pens would be fine now… were sent by the Indian boutique when I enquired about the pens

Thank you @vikrmbedi for posting the photo and videos.  Lovely visual treats they have been.

As @Cyrille81 previously and astutely compared the metal barrel of the (2019) Le Petit Prince Solitaire Doué LeGrand (FP ident 119684) to the metal body and cap of the (2024) Olympic Heritage Chamonix 1924 Solitaire LeGrand (FP ident 131371), your comparison, @vikrmbedi, of the metal body and cap of the lovely Chamonix Solitaire to the body and cap of the (2019) Le Petit Prince Solitaire Coffret LE943 (ident 119698) metal LeGrand fountain pen (ident 119702) is even more on point.

The mesmerising interplay of mirror and satin finishes in white metal seen earlier on Montblanc pens such as the (2010) Solitaire Stainless Steel II (ident 09940) (with its subtly two-tone patterned cap),

IMG_0227.thumb.jpeg.bcf2f3a34b328f7b0f814c8728aec07e.jpeg

later achieved a higher level of seductive aesthetic in the aforementioned 2019 Le Petit Prince Solitaire Doué LeGrand and 2019 Le Petit Prince Solitaire Coffret LE943 metal LeGrand, and the 2020 Writers Edition Victor Hugo LE1831 (ident 125497),

and now seems to have reached an apotheosis of near-irresistible allure in both the Chamonix Solitaire as well as this year’s Masters of Art Homage to Gustav Klimt LE888 (ident 130227),

although one could argue that in the case of the Klimt above, the effect is somewhat diluted by the distraction of the mixed-metal colour scheme.

Ah, that makes sense, especially since the vintage references are not really part of the design of the pen form the way they were with the 1912 or 1906 serpent/spider. (And indeed, looking at the packaging more closely, it says, "Meisterstück X Olympic Heritage Paris 1924 Special Edition" rather than "Montblanc Heritage" or etc.) Thanks for the info!

For those who might be considering but wondering about the shade of red, it's actually grown on me quite a bit. In fact, it has a slightly pinker tone of coral (to my eye) than the (to my eye) browner/oranges coral of the serpent, and I actually prefer this pinker greyed down (?) coral of the 1924. (Though as a previous poster mentioned, it's hard to tell how much the contrast with the gold detailing is affecting my sense of the hue). I have a terrible color sense/perception, but this 1924 coral comes closer to what I think of when I hear coral. So I am really loving this hue now.

After sitting on it a night, the color seems even more gorgeous, but the inscription still doesn't appeal to me. I would rather just have a 146 with these colors. That said, it's easy enough to overlook and the delight of the color way and javelin nib are more than enough to compensate!

I also just saw another pen store announcing a July 1 Olympic release, so I imagine these will be everywhere after the release window mentioned by Cyrille81 (whose posts and pics I have always delighted in!)

I have added a few pics in case it helps others to decide by seeing reds they might know from other pens alongside. But be warned (it will be obvious), I don't really know how to take proper photos or make sure the lighting and color are registered accurately. I will have to leave that to others....

(And please let me know if I should take these down and repost after July 1... hopefully one can delete images even after posting...)
