Unmarked Pelikan?

Recommended Posts

I had some pens in my mailbox this morning, including one that looks like a Pelikan but it has no markings on it anywhere. It looks like a good gold nib, the color is correct, the clip shape is correct, piston seems to work and it appears to have never been inked. The piston seal is clear, screw is black.

Any ideas? Legit bird? Knockoff?

Sorry about the second photo, I keep resizing it and it keeps showing up huge.

I doubt it's a Pelikan. The nib looks like it has a folded tip-- I don't know the correct terminology but it's where the metal at the end of the nib is folded over in lieu of actual tipping. To me this speaks of an inexpensive school pen. They can be great writers though.
