Lamy 2000 with BB nib. Sheaffer brown ink.

I have the B and wish I’d ordered the BB.  That’s going to be a fun pen!  Enjoy.

The BB are fun to write, now to look for a BBO.

Lamy Safari Terra Red 2021 LE. A sharp looking pen for the kitchen counter and spontaneous notes.

Lamy 2000 Steel - not writing with it yet. It is in Mark Bacas' queue to be transformed from BB to CI.

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

Dialog 3 piano black with a Broad nib.  Love it.  So smooth…and the heft is lovely.  The B nib  takes a few squiggles to start writing but it’s so smooth I dare not mess with it.   Currently inked with Lamys BlackBerry ink - shocked how much I love that ink!

Every time I thought of getting a 2000, some other pen showed up and took the budget; at least this time it was a relative.

Day three: no signs of cracks in the section; no reason for me to get a 2000, which while probably a great pen doesn't do much for me in terms of aesthetics, this one does. Super smooth nib, chunky BB line, super saturated ink, shy Gulf Blue shows up with a mohawk haircut.

Dialog 3 cleaned out and drying for now.  Inked up the good old Gloss Black Safari that I’ve owned for 15 years.   That pen is the one that really got me into FPs…the Parker Latitude I owned before never worked well enough.

The Safari fine nib long ago replaced with the 1.9mm calligraphy nib.  Inked it up with Edelstein Golden Lapis.

writing with my Lamy Ratio 46 and exchanged the steel EF nib with the 14k EF nib from my Lamy 2000 SS.

This way i can use my 2000 EF nib daily without the fear of dropping my precious 2000 SS which i received as a gift from my wife.

Also currently using my heirloom Wahl Eversharp Equi-Poised pen at home for writing in my journal. Pen looks very cool, but no nib writes as smooth as my 2000 EF nib.

That nib is a joy to use and i don't really like the feedback i get from the Wahl (or any other pen i have..).

Have even thought about getting some micromesh so that i can make all of my pens as smooth as that one. But i'm too scared of ruining the nibs.
