Ebonite bodies for the Pilot Falcon section supported Con-70 (matte, polished/semi-glossy and lacquered/glossy)

That's a very nice set of pens, congratulations again!

From the photo, I like the lacquered version the most. Recently I acquired an ebonite pen from Eboya which is also polished to high gloss without lacquer. I love this pen so much!

And I also like the writing and drawing samples you provided. Always a pleasure to watch your portraits!

One life!

The more parts the pen is made of, the more difficult it is to lacquered it.

Thank you very much.

What about a roll-stop like on, amongst others, Nakayas? I also never use a clip, but I do like my pen not to roll away when just put down on my desk.

Theoretically, it is possible. In Tribute, the cap's top is unscrewed under the clip, so, then can make a ring with a protrusion that will perform the function of a stopper, but then need to purchase a milling machine)).

Draft prototype by personal order to Pilot Custom 743 section (also compatible with 742) based on my custom ebonite body design to Pilot Falcon Elabo. The final version plan to cover by lacquer.

@Andrew_LThis is wonderful!  Had I thought about what type of pen you would create, this fits both the color(black, for all those black and white sketches) and the linearity reminiscent of your drawings. Your attention to angle and lack of a step-down echo your typical attention to detail.

Now you need to get one of those Pilot EF nibs in somehow!

Come to mention it, its raw shape does resemble a Kakuno... ;)

Kudos.

Thank you! Yes, I prefer to the classic western shape, but I have no preference for black color. It was just easier to start from black/dark ebonite. I don't like variegated spots, like Indian ebonite, but I like the color too)).

Unfortunately, Pilot does not sell spare parts, so it is difficult to purchase a Pilot nib separately from the fountain pen)).

ps: by the way, I use a lot my FP last time, I do almost all the technical drawings with it))

One more personal order on ebonite body, but this time, for a vintage Pilot Falcon/Elabo section with metal bushing.

Thank you so much! Not ideal, but relative to the start design of the section, the writer turned out to be quite convenient with cap on thread.

Your pens look amazing! I love the crisp italic nib, and the EF, and your drawings and handwriting examples are beautiful. I wish nothing more than peace for you and yours.

@Andrew_L You inspire me.

Thank you.

Thank you so much! Probably not, but it really looks not bad, interesting and feels pleasured on touch.

@Andrew_LDo you find that ebonite smells funny?  I didn't like a lovely Osprey pen because of the smell.  @amberleadavisleant me a different maker's pen with an ebonite feed for comparison, and I thought that smelled odd, too. Her Osprey wasn't as smelly as mine, though.

All ebonite smells. It's rubber.
